A catch-and-shoot tempo drill that transfers to Rec
Catch-and-shoot is the most repeatable look in Rec, which makes it the best drill for tempo. Published by SkyGPC, the developer of Peak. Numbers here are first-party practice-mode observations dated September 15, 2026 — reproduce them before you trust them.
The drill
- Same spot, same passer angle, twenty reps.
- Do not move your feet between reps.
- Log makes and miss direction.
- Repeat online off-peak for ten reps.
What it tells you
If practice and off-peak online agree, your tune is sound. If only online drifts late, you have a latency offset, not a tuning error.
Frequently asked questions
Why the same passer angle?
Different angles change the gather animation, which changes the window you are measuring.
How often should I run it?
Once a week while the game is stable, and after any patch.
