The tuning mistakes we see most heading into week three
After two weeks of support questions, the same five mistakes account for most 'it stopped working' reports. Published by SkyGPC, the team that develops and sells Peak. Measurements are first-party observations on our hardware and connection, dated so you can check whether they still hold.
The five
- Changing several values in one session, so no result is attributable.
- Tuning during peak online hours instead of practice mode.
- Switching jumpshots mid-measurement.
- Judging on ten shots instead of twenty.
- Keeping no dated baseline to return to.
The fix
One variable, twenty shots, practice mode, dated log. It is slower for one session and faster for every session after.
Frequently asked questions
What if my baseline is already lost?
Reset to the shipped defaults, re-measure twenty practice shots, and log that as the new baseline before changing anything.
How long should a tuning session take?
Twenty to thirty minutes. Longer sessions produce fatigue-driven values that fail the next day.
