NBA 2K27 controller settings baseline for script users
Tuning against a moving baseline produces contradictory results. Lock these settings on September 4 and treat any later change as a reason to re-verify your timing.
Settings to fix and forget
| Setting | Baseline | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Shot timing | One deliberate choice | Every timing conclusion is relative to it |
| Shot meter | Visible while tuning | You need the feedback signal during testing |
| Vibration | Low or off while testing | Haptics mask stick feedback |
| Camera | One camera, one zoom | Visual timing cues change with camera |
| Stick sensitivity | Default until you have a reason | Non-default values interact with tempo inputs |
The testing loop
- Choose one player and one shot type.
- Fifty attempts, recording early/late rather than made/missed.
- One change.
- Fifty attempts again.
Fifty attempts is not statistically luxurious, but it is enough to catch a systematic offset, which is what you are actually hunting.
Frequently asked questions
Should I turn the shot meter off?
Turn it off in games if you prefer, but keep it visible while tuning. You are trying to read a signal, and the meter is the signal.
