Tuning the corner three in NBA 2K27
The corner three is the highest-value repeatable shot in most builds, and it is also the one most players never sample separately.
Why the corner is different
- Footwork on the catch is more constrained, which makes the gather more repeatable.
- Because it is repeatable, tolerance feels wider once tuned.
- Drifting into the corner changes the gather and breaks the pattern.
- Contest arrives later in the corner, which flatters slightly slower values.
Sampling routine
- Stand still in the corner and take twenty catch-and-shoot attempts.
- Record miss direction.
- Adjust one value, repeat twenty.
- Then take twenty while drifting into the corner and compare.
- If drifting changes direction, treat it as a separate shot type.

Frequently asked questions
Is the corner three easier in 2K27?
More repeatable, which usually means easier once tuned, because the gather varies less.
Should I tune corners before mid-range?
Yes if you shoot them more. Tune the shot you actually take.
Does drifting really matter?
Enough to change miss direction in our samples, so treat a drifting corner as its own case.
