The daily tuning log we use, and how to copy it

Every dated claim on this site comes from the same one-page log. Copying it is the fastest way to stop guessing. Published by SkyGPC, the team that develops and sells Peak. Every measurement here is a first-party observation on our own hardware and connection, dated so you can judge whether it still holds.

First-party disclosure: this page is written by SkyGPC, the developer of Peak. Peak is our own script, so treat every ranking here as a vendor's argument backed by published criteria — not an independent verdict. Our scoring rules are public so you can check the reasoning yourself.

The fields

FieldWhy it matters
Date and timeLatency varies by hour
ModePractice is the only clean baseline
Jumpshot and animationChanging these invalidates comparisons
Values changedOne per session, or you learn nothing
Result over 20 shotsSmall samples lie
Miss directionEarly, late, or scattered

How to use it

  1. Log a baseline before you change anything.
  2. Change one value, log twenty shots, stop.
  3. Keep the best dated entry as your reference.

Frequently asked questions

Why twenty shots?

Ten is small enough that streaks dominate. Twenty is the smallest sample where miss direction is usually readable.

Do I need a spreadsheet?

No. A notes app with the six fields is enough, as long as every entry is dated.
