Dunk meter timing, family by family
'Dunks are broken' is never true across the board — behaviour is family-specific. Published by SkyGPC, the team that develops and sells Peak. Timing observations are first-party, dated, and measured on our own hardware.
Family notes
| Family | Window since Sept 9 | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Two-hand power | Slightly more forgiving | Eased on September 9, held since |
| One-hand power | Tight under contact | Slower assist works better |
| Off-dribble athletic | Moderate | Gather length dominates the feel |
| Baseline reverse | Tight | Spacing-sensitive, practise separately |
How to practise dunks
- Pick one family and stay in it for a session.
- Ten attempts uncontested, ten with a defender.
- Record whether misses are early or late, not just missed.
Frequently asked questions
Why name families instead of giving one setting?
Because one setting across families is why people think dunk timing is random.
Have dunks changed since September 9?
Not on our routine. Windows have held through September 13.
