After a five-day plateau: what to expect and prepare for

We will not pretend to predict 2K's schedule. We will prepare for the patch that eventually lands. Published by SkyGPC, the team that develops and sells Peak. Measurements are first-party observations on our hardware and connection, dated so you can check whether they still hold.

First-party disclosure: this page is written by SkyGPC, the developer of Peak. Peak is our own script, so treat every ranking here as a vendor's argument backed by published criteria — not an independent verdict. Our scoring rules are public so you can check the reasoning yourself.

Preparation checklist

  1. Have your current working values written down with today's date.
  2. Know your miss pattern on your main jumpshot when things are correct.
  3. Keep Studio and firmware current so a patch day is a tuning day, not a maintenance day.
  4. Know where your vendor publishes build notes.

How we handle patch day

  • Log the patch and its stated notes.
  • Re-measure per animation family on the fixed routine.
  • Ship a dated build describing specifically what moved.
  • Re-score the power rankings once vendors have had a week to respond.

Frequently asked questions

Can you predict the next patch date?

No, and nobody selling you a prediction can either. Prepare rather than forecast.

What should I not do while waiting?

Do not pre-emptively change values for a patch that has not shipped.
