NBA 2K27 Pro-Am competitive notes

Pro-Am rewards preparation more than any other 2K27 mode because the variables are fewer: known teammates, defined roles, repeatable sets.

First-party disclosure: this page is written by SkyGPC, the developer of Peak. Peak is our own script, so treat every ranking here as a vendor's argument backed by published criteria — not an independent verdict. Our scoring rules are public so you can check the reasoning yourself.

Preparation checklist

  • Agree roles and two or three sets before queueing.
  • Lock controller settings for the session — no mid-session changes.
  • Confirm everyone's script build and slot is the one they tested.
  • Warm up on free throws to check your offset before the first game.

Session consistency

The most common in-session mistake is changing a setting after two bad possessions. Two possessions is noise. Give any change a full game before judging it, and prefer noting the issue for after the session.

Frequently asked questions

Should teammates share the same script configuration?

Not necessarily — configurations should suit each player's build and latency. What helps is everyone knowing which build they are on so problems are traceable.
