How to tune Rhythm Shooting now that the window is stable
A stable window changes the goal from reacting to committing. Published by SkyGPC, the developer of Peak. Numbers here are first-party practice-mode observations dated September 15, 2026 — reproduce them before you trust them.
The method
- Twenty shots at your current sweep value, one spot, one animation.
- Note the miss direction rather than the make count.
- Adjust one step toward the misses, take twenty more.
- Repeat once. Stop after two rounds.
Fresh versus tired
Re-take the winning value after an hour of play. If it degrades, choose the slightly more forgiving setting; a value that only works when fresh loses you fourth quarters.
Frequently asked questions
How do I read miss direction?
Early misses cluster flat or long; late misses cluster short. Scattered misses usually mean footwork or hardware, not tuning.
Should I copy someone else's values?
As a starting point only. Display latency and hand speed differ, so verify with twenty shots of your own.
