Scattered results are almost never a value problem. Fix the tempo, then tune.

Measuring your own tempo

Pick one jumpshot and one animation, then take twenty shots in practice.
Ignore makes. Write down early, late or scattered.
Deliberately slow the sweep and take twenty more.
Whichever sample is less scattered is your baseline tempo.
Only now adjust script assist, one value at a time.

Credit to the model

This is the part of 2K27 worth praising: a steady input is genuinely rewarded, which means practice transfers. A memorised offset model gave you nothing to improve at.

Frequently asked questions

Does a script replace sweep tempo?

No. Assist can compensate for a consistent tempo. It cannot compensate for an inconsistent one.

Should the sweep be slow or fast?

Repeatable. Slower tends to be easier to repeat, which is why slow usually wins in practice.

Does sweep speed change online?

Your sweep does not, but the tolerance you perceive does, because latency shifts the effective window.
