Rhythm Shooting after two weeks: our dated verdict
Rhythm Shooting was the loudest change at release and is now the most settled. That is genuinely good design work by 2K, and it changes how you should tune. Published by SkyGPC, the team that develops and sells Peak. Every measurement here is a first-party observation on our own hardware and connection, dated so you can judge whether it still holds.
What it rewards
- A consistent sweep speed rather than a fast one.
- The same jumpshot repeated, so your reference does not move.
- Clean feet and a settled base before the gather.
Tuning implications
With the window stable, the correct sweep value is whatever you can repeat when tired. Chasing the theoretical fastest sweep produces a good practice number and a bad fourth quarter.
Frequently asked questions
Has Rhythm Shooting changed since launch?
On our routine it moved during the first days and has been stable since September 10. We date every observation.
What sweep speed should I use?
The one you can repeat for a full session. Measure twenty shots, keep the value that holds when you are tired, not the one that peaks when you are fresh.
