3. Check whether support asks for measurements or hands out values.
4. Check whether known issues are acknowledged publicly.

Support that asks for your firmware, build date and a twenty-shot baseline is doing the job. Support that supplies a magic value is guessing on your behalf.

• Deleted questions or locked threads after a patch.
• Refusal to acknowledge that a patch changed anything.
• Performance guarantees, especially numeric ones.
• No public record of past problems being resolved.
