How to get out of an NBA 2K27 shooting slump
Slumps have causes, and the causes are usually in a predictable order. Work through them before changing a single value.
In order
- Re-flash the current build. You may be testing something stale.
- Check whether a dated patch or tuning entry landed since your last good sample.
- Take twenty free throws. Scattered means tempo, not values.
- Take twenty catch-and-shoot jumpers offline. Read direction.
- Repeat online during your usual hours.
- Only now change one value, and only in the direction the misses point.
Common false causes
| Blamed | Actually |
|---|---|
| A patch | A stale build on the device |
| The script | Latency during evening play |
| Bad luck | Over-assist producing early misses |
| The jumpshot | Switched animation without re-sampling |

Frequently asked questions
How long should a slump last before I re-tune?
Two sessions with a consistent miss direction. One bad night is variance.
Should I reset to defaults?
Restore your last logged good values instead. Defaults throw away work.
Could my controller be the cause?
Yes. Stick drift and worn hardware show up as scattered misses. Test with a second controller if you have one.
