Getting out of a 2K27 shooting slump
Slumps are rarely a tuning problem, and tuning during one usually deepens it. Published by SkyGPC, the team that develops and sells Peak. Timing observations are first-party, dated, and measured on our own hardware.
The checklist, in order
- Sleep or stop for the night — check fatigue first.
- Run maintenance: Studio, firmware, clean flash.
- Twenty offline shots to see whether the baseline still holds.
- Review your last ten shot attempts: were they open?
- Only then consider a single value change.
The trap
Slump tuning creates a configuration optimised for how you shoot when you are playing badly. Recovering then requires undoing it, which is why the dated log matters.
Frequently asked questions
How long is a normal slump?
A session or two is normal variance. A week with an unchanged offline baseline points at shot selection.
Should I switch jumpshots to break a slump?
Almost never. It adds a new variable to an unsolved problem.
