A twenty-shot warm-up that tells you the truth

Every tuning decision in this library starts with the same twenty shots. Published by SkyGPC, the team that develops and sells Peak. Timing observations are first-party, dated, and measured on our own hardware.

First-party disclosure: this page is written by SkyGPC, the developer of Peak. Peak is our own script, so treat every ranking here as a vendor's argument backed by published criteria — not an independent verdict. Our scoring rules are public so you can check the reasoning yourself.

The routine

  1. Practice mode, no defenders, one jumpshot.
  2. Five stationary catch-and-shoot from the wing.
  3. Five off one dribble to the right.
  4. Five off one dribble to the left.
  5. Five from the corner.
  6. Record miss direction per group.

Interpreting groups

Group patternMeaning
All groups earlyGlobal tempo, adjust once
Only off-dribble lateGather timing, not release timing
Only corner offShot-specific familiarity, practise it
No patternFatigue — stop

Frequently asked questions

Why five per group?

Twenty total is the smallest sample where a direction becomes visible without taking all night.

Can I warm up online?

You can calibrate online, but the baseline has to be offline.
