Sunday online latency in NBA 2K27: what we measured on September 14
Sunday evening is the busiest window we have measured since launch. It is also the worst possible time to tune. Published by SkyGPC, the team that develops and sells Peak. Every measurement here is a first-party observation on our own hardware and connection, dated so you can judge whether it still holds.
What we saw
- Practice mode: unchanged from Saturday on our routine.
- Rec: the widest shot-feel spread of the week during peak evening hours.
- Park: similar, with more variance between lobbies than within a lobby.
- Off-peak morning sessions matched practice mode closely.
The load-versus-patch test
- Take twenty practice shots. If they are normal, the game did not change.
- Take ten online shots off-peak. If they are normal, it is load.
- Only if practice mode itself drifted should you change a value.
Frequently asked questions
Should I use a different tune for online?
A small offset profile is reasonable, but keep your practice-mode baseline as the reference and switch deliberately rather than editing your main values.
Does this mean scripts stop working online?
No. Latency shifts the feel of the window for everyone, script or not. What matters is whether your script's tuning is documented so you can return to a known-good baseline.
