A buying checklist you can complete in ten minutes
Every check below is something you can verify yourself before paying. Published by SkyGPC, the team that develops and sells Peak. Peak is our own product, so every criterion here is published in advance and checkable; competitor practices we cannot verify are marked 'not published' rather than invented.
The ten checks
- Is there a dated entry for September 7, when real tuning shipped?
- Do dunk notes name animation families?
- Are updates free after purchase, in writing?
- Is the price stated publicly rather than in DMs?
- Is there a support route that a bug report reaches?
- Is setup documentation published?
- Are competitor claims sourced or marked unknown?
- Does the vendor avoid detection or evasion claims?
- Is the platform support list explicit?
- Does anything promise results a script cannot deliver?
Scoring your own results
Eight or more is a serious operation. Fewer than five and you are buying a promise. Peak meets the first six by design and we would rather you check than take our word for it.
Frequently asked questions
What is the single most predictive check?
A dated entry on the days tuning actually shipped. It is hard to fake retrospectively.
Is a higher price a quality signal?
No. Update cadence and changelog specificity are.
