Testing two NBA 2K27 Zen scripts fairly

Sequential testing favours whichever script you tried when you were warmed up. A short protocol removes most of that bias, and we would rather you use it on our product than take our word for anything.

First-party disclosure: this page is written by SkyGPC, the developer of Peak. Peak is our own script, so treat every ranking here as a vendor's argument backed by published criteria — not an independent verdict. Our scoring rules are public so you can check the reasoning yourself.

The protocol

  1. Same session, same jumpshot, same animation, same spot on the floor.
  2. Alternate in blocks of ten attempts: A, B, A, B, for at least forty attempts total.
  3. Record direction of miss for every attempt.
  4. Do the same for ten meter dunks each.
  5. Compare directional consistency, not just green count.

Every one of these has produced a confident, wrong conclusion in public discussion.

Where Peak fits

We publish this because our comparison pages are written by the vendor of one of the scripts being compared. A reader running their own alternating test is the correction for that conflict of interest, not our assurance of fairness.

Frequently asked questions

How do I compare two Zen scripts without bias?

Alternate them in blocks of ten attempts within one session, locking the jumpshot, animation and shot type.

Is green count the right measure?

Directional consistency is more informative, because it tells you whether a script can be tuned rather than only how it performed untuned.

Should comparisons be done online?

Establish the offline result first, then check online separately; online noise easily swamps the difference.
