A tuning log template for NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen users
The single biggest difference between people who recover quickly after a patch and people who start from zero is a log. Here is the format we use, updated September 11, 2026.
What every entry needs
| Field | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Date | Values expire; undated numbers are noise |
| Build version | Tells you what you were actually running |
| Jumpshot and animation | Windows differ per family |
| Sample size | Twenty diagnoses, fifty confirms |
| Online or offline | Latency changes the answer |
| Result | Made / early / late / scattered |
How to use it after a patch
- Find your last entry that was working and note its date.
- Re-run the same routine on the new build without changing anything.
- Record the direction of the misses before you touch a value.
- Adjust once, re-sample, then log the new entry as a new row.
Frequently asked questions
Why not just remember my values?
Because after a patch you need to know which values worked on which build. Memory conflates them and you end up tuning against yourself.
How long should I keep old entries?
Through the whole game cycle. Old entries show how a family has drifted over time, which speeds up the next recovery.
