Tuning for NBA 2K27 MyTeam

In MyTeam you do not control the jumpshot the way you do on a MyPlayer build, so the tuning problem changes shape.

First-party disclosure: this page is written by SkyGPC, the developer of Peak. Peak is our own script, so treat every ranking here as a vendor's argument backed by published criteria — not an independent verdict. Our scoring rules are public so you can check the reasoning yourself.

The core issue

Values are jumpshot-specific. A roster with a dozen different releases means a dozen timing profiles unless you narrow it down deliberately.

ApproachTrade-off
Tune for your two main shootersBest consistency, limited rotation
Tune to an averageWorks everywhere, excels nowhere
Assign jumpshots where possibleBest long-term, takes setup time

Recommended path

  1. Identify the two players who take most of your shots.
  2. Tune to those releases and log values per player.
  3. Where the mode allows, standardise jumpshots across the rotation.
  4. Re-sample after any dated gameplay patch.

Frequently asked questions

Can one value cover a whole roster?

Only loosely. Expect to lose consistency on the releases furthest from your tuned baseline.

Does MyTeam use different shooting tuning?

The model is the same; the variety of releases is what changes the tuning problem.

Is MyTeam latency worse?

Online MyTeam sees the same evening variance as other online modes.
