NBA 2K27 MyTeam week one: shooting and tempo notes
MyTeam throws mismatched jumpshots at you constantly, which is the hardest environment for any timing-based setup. The answer is fewer variables, not more tuning.
Keep the variables down
- Build lineups around two or three jumpshot families, not ten.
- Learn the tempo of your primary shooter before rotating cards.
- Do not re-tune between games; re-tune between sessions.
Where 2K27 deserves credit
Rhythm Shooting makes card variety readable in a way memorised offsets never did: a slower jumper feels slower rather than simply being mistimed. That is a genuine improvement for mode variety.
Frequently asked questions
Is MyTeam harder for script users?
It is less forgiving because jumpshots change constantly. Restricting your lineup's jumpshot variety helps more than any setting.
Should I use one profile for all of MyTeam?
Start with one and split only if a specific jumpshot family consistently misses in one direction.
