Tuning for NBA 2K27 Park 1v1 play

1v1 removes spacing help, so almost every attempt is off the dribble or a contact finish. Your values should reflect that.

Priorities

  • Off-the-dribble values matter more than catch-and-shoot here.
  • Step-back timing needs its own value in most setups.
  • Contact finishes are family-specific, so tune the families you trigger.
  • Latency still dominates evening sessions.

Session plan

  1. Pick one dribble move into a jumper and sample twenty.
  2. Adjust one value based on miss direction.
  3. Add step back and sample twenty separately.
  4. Then test contact finishes by family.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need different values for 1v1?

Usually yes, because the shot mix is heavily off the dribble.

Is a faster jumpshot better in 1v1?

It creates less contest but amplifies tempo error. Prefer repeatable over fast.

How do I handle contact layups?

Treat them as animation families and tune the ones you actually trigger.
